Theresa Kang-Lowe is a partner at WME in the agency’s Scripted Television department. In her role, she represents television and film literary clients, including a broad array of producers, writers, directors, showrunners and talent.
Kang’s clients include Simon Beaufoy (“Slumdog Millionaire”), David Caspe (“Black Monday”), Damien Chazelle (“The Eddy”), Ryan Coogler (“Black Panther”), Guillermo Del Toro (“The Strain”), Ink Factory (The Night Manager”), Gillian Flynn (“Sharp Objects,” “Gone Girl”), Emma Frost (“The White Queen”), Seth Gordon (“Horrible Bosses”), David Goyer (“Krypton”), Soo Hugh (“The Terror”), Lisa Joy (“Westworld”), Lisa Ling, Greg Nicotero (“The Walking Dead”), Roberto Patino (“Westworld”), Prentice Penny (“Insecure”), Amy Seimetz (“The Girlfriend Experience”), Justin Simien (“Dear White People”), Diana Son (“13 Reasons Why”), Lena Waithe (“The Chi”), Linda Woolverton (“Maleficent”) and Steve Zaillian (“The Night Of”) among notable others.
Kang began her entertainment career working in business affairs and the legal department at USA Network. In 2003, she joined the Endeavor Talent Agency working in the Television Business Affairs department and later transitioned into Television and Film. She was the first Asian American to be promoted to partner at Endeavor Talent Agency. Additionally, she currently runs and co-founded WME’s Empower, a company-wide program promoting diversity and inclusion.
Kang is an alumna of UCLA resides in Mar Vista with her husband, Jonathan and their son, Cary.
